t's good that some workers are provided heat relief . I remember designing a room where our workers in the plant can ' cool off ' when the weather becomes unbearable. The room has an A/C of course , a water cooler and seats . I thought of incorporating mist spraying unit but it's too complicated . They can spend their break at the RR . So after the shift is over , you'll find tons of newspapers in there . Sometimes. that's where I picked up newspapers to take home .In comparison , plants in Saudi Arabia where I used to work have no such thing . One just have to bear it. e Yemenis . These guys are small but strong hombres working in outside weather either in constructions and road building. Actually , Bin Laden is Saudi-Yemeni but he's tall (6'4'') .Then next to the Yemenis are the Pakistanis , Indians and sub Saharan nationals not necessarilly in order. I guess their DNA can accept such brutal weather !

You can say the same thing for cold weather people . Their DNA can tolerate brutal weather !
Not all is bad when temp. is hot . The girls are 'hot'. In downtown Toronto ,
a lot of them are parading in their bikinis !
The kitchen I cater out of has no air at all.... now add 500 degree ovens to the mix, and we are talking sweat-wet shirts in minutes. I miss the spring, and can't wait for the autumn, and thank my lucky stars that the store sells big tubs of ice cream for the weather we are having now.

I've heard about the weather in the desert of the Middle East . Do you think that thing they put in their head helps in cooling them. The Yanks call them rugheads 'coz of that !
it has been 100 to 106 here..we are used to it, but it is still hard on the very old and the very young..and mothers need to stop leaving their kids in there cars thinking they will be ok for a minute or two..
You are right, the heat is getting to everyone.
